This book in my estimation is just okay. It took me a couple of weeks to finish which is so not me. I found it to be very drawn out and repetitious, not a book that holds interest and makes you anxiously await what is going to happen next.
I read all three books in this series and loved every word from start to finnish. This author, Linda Broday is outstanding . The stories were wonderful
I will certainly continue to read her books.
This is a really good 👍 series. The stories in all 3 books blends together very well, and you feel like you're actually going through it all with the men and their families. Better than that is not only no 👕bombs or other negative words. Thank you Linda Broday.
All three books are great, each in its own, however you'll be totally blessed to read all three in the series. This third book also ends leaving you feel completely satisfied.
I loved having the three brothers staying solidly involved in each book. Being a Christian I did skip over the love making pages, so I can't say how much detail was written on it, but I can tell you that I don't feel it took away from the story.
The story started out strong and I loved Rayna's witty dialogue. Unfortunately, the last third of the book was difficult to finish reading. The same dangerous situation was drawn out and happened again and again...and then again.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Bachelors of Battle Creek series, but Forever His Texas Bride was an excellent finale and proved a real page-turner in the latter half of the book. Linda Broday proved she excels at action and drama as much as romance as she brought all of the plot and subplots together. I ached for Brett and Rayna's difficult lives (and that of other characters) and sighed in satisfaction for their future. This is a story told with maturity and wisdom, and deserves the respect it's getting. Delightful and poignant secondary characters, as well.
This is a good adventure and love story. Brett & Rayna. Is anyone ever free of their past? Rayna has had a very hard life but she loves Brett, the last of the three bachelor brothers of Battle Creek. He is concerned that she'll still not have happiness with him because he is half Iroquois Indian . It's time both Brett and Rayna grasp happiness. With Brett Rayna finds out what it is to be cherished. The adventure is brought in when they care for and protect a group of orphaned comanche children. Violence, somewhat sensual. Well worth reading.
